Web Design

A website that
earns its keep.

A lot of business websites are ten years old and never made anyone call. We build the kind that gets calls, bookings, and walk-ins. Fast, clear, and written in your voice.

Who This Is For

Local businesses whose website should be doing more than it is.

If the website is supposed to bring in work and right now it isn’t, this is for you. Four people or eighty, the site should be earning calls, quotes, and walk-ins, not sitting there looking dated while customers find someone else.

  • 01
You’ve got a real business, and a site that doesn’t reflect it.Trades, suppliers, practices, firms: established businesses whose site hasn’t kept up.
  • 02
You want the site to bring in work, not just exist. So the first conversation starts with “I’ve seen your work,” not “tell me about yourself.”
  • 03
You want a real person answering the phone. One team, not a ticket queue. You’ll talk to the person making the site.
What’s Included

What the project covers.

One price, agreed up front. Everything listed below, done. No “that’ll cost extra” phone calls halfway through.

A site made from scratch

Custom layout and design, built around what your customers need to decide. Not a page builder with your logo pasted on top.

Copy written by a human who asked questions

We ask how you actually talk about the business, and the site ends up sounding like that. No AI boilerplate, no “passionate about quality and integrity.”

Fast, and made for phones first

Most people will find you on a phone, in a truck or a waiting room. Light pages that load quick, even out where the signal is weak. A site that makes somebody wait is a call you never hear about.

Set up so Google can find you

The behind-the-scenes setup Google looks for, included in every build. Climbing local search over time is our Visibility service, if you ever want it.

An editor your team will actually use

Hours, prices, photos, staff. If editing a Google Doc is in their comfort zone, this will be too. We train someone on your team before we call it done.

Hosting, domain, email, forms. Handled.

We set up your hosting, your web address, email forwarding, and every form routed to the email, phone, or CRM you actually check. Hosting runs on your monthly agreement. You own the domain, and if you ever leave, the site goes with you.

How We Think About Web Design

Opinions your website will be built on.

01

We’d rather make it simple than make it fancy

A site with one clear path beats a site with ten clever ones. If something doesn’t help a customer decide, it usually shouldn’t be on the page.

02

Launch is the start, not the end

The first two weeks of fixes are on us, and after that you reach a person, not a ticket queue. Sites drift out of date when updating them is a chore. Ours aren’t.

03

You shouldn’t need us to change a price

If a routine update takes a phone call and a ticket, the site’s working against you. The admin we hand off is built around the things you’ll actually change.

04

Smaller and used beats bigger and ignored

If a page or a feature won’t move the needle, we’ll leave it out. We’d rather build a smaller site you use than a bigger one you don’t.

How A Project Runs

Five steps, first call to live site.

You shouldn’t have to guess what you’re agreeing to. Here’s how a project runs.

  1. 01
    KickoffDay one

A real conversation, not a form.

We get on a call, we ask about the business, we listen. By the end of it, we both know whether this is a fit, and if it isn’t, we’ll tell you.

  2. 02
    Questions & draftsWeek 1–2

We write, design, and show our work.

We put together copy and layout based on what you told us. You’ll see drafts early, before anything’s polished, so changing direction is cheap if it’s off.

  3. 03
    Your feedbackWeek 2–3

You tell us what’s right and what isn’t.

Two rounds of feedback, written or on a call, whichever’s easier. We update, you sign off, we move on. No open-ended back-and-forth.

  4. 04
    LaunchWeek 4–6

The site goes live and we train your team.

We handle all the technical setup and walk someone on your team through the admin. By the end of the session, they can update the site on their own.

  5. 05
    First two weeks liveAfter launch

    Small fixes are on us.

Typos, tweaks, things you notice once the site’s out in the wild. We handle them. After that, ongoing updates are part of your monthly agreement, and bigger changes get their own price first.

Questions

Common questions.

You can. We train someone on your team, and routine updates like hours, prices, and photos take under five minutes. For bigger changes, we’re around.

A set price, agreed in writing before we start. Pay it once, or split it into monthly payments and pay it off early anytime with no penalty. Details are on the Pricing page. Your number takes one phone call.

Yes. The domain, the content, and the site itself. If you ever move to another host or developer, everything goes with you.

A kickoff call, a couple hours reviewing drafts across the project, and a training session at the end. No weekly “alignment” calls.

No. If you can edit a Google Doc, you can edit your site, and if you’d rather not touch it, your monthly agreement covers the updates for you.

Set up for you, and the domain is in your name. Hosting is part of your monthly agreement. If you’d rather not keep one once the site is paid off, we move it to hosting you control. Either way, you’re never stuck.

Depends on the site. Old, slow, hard to update, or doesn’t match the business anymore? Yes. Works fine and just needs a couple pages? We’ll do it smaller.

First two weeks, small fixes are on us. After that, your monthly agreement covers care and small changes, month to month, and anything we built that breaks gets fixed free. Bigger changes get a price first, every time.

The groundwork is part of every build. Climbing local search over time is its own service: Visibility.

Ready When You Are

Let’s see if it’s a fit.

Tell us about the business and what’s not working on the current site, or why there isn’t one yet. One phone call, and you’ll have an answer on scope, price, and timing.
